Supply of High-Selectivity Adsorbent
Following the withdrawal from the market of a number of foreign manufacturers/ licensors of short-cycle adsorption (PSA) technologies, difficulties have arisen in servicing previously supplied PSA units. Replacing the adsorbent in existing PSA units of Western licensors requires an integrated approach to engineering, extensive experience in delivering similar projects, and in-depth knowledge of the specific features of the technologies employed.
To enable the provision of high-quality adsorbent supply and correct replacement services for adsorption systems, laboratory studies of commercially available adsorbent analogues have been carried out, manufacturing plants and engineering centres specialising in the design of PSA units have been visited, and an analysis of existing market examples of unsuccessful service and adsorbent replacement at PSA units has been performed.
