Tubular Downstream Separator
Modified Tubular Downstream Separator (MTDS) is designed for separation of oil emulsion and preliminary discharge of free water in the scope of Free Water Knock Out Unit and Oil Treatment Unit.
MTDS is effectively used in the system of collecting pipelines for their unloading from ballast produced water in various areas: during line discharge at initial, intermediate and end points of the system.
MTDS dimensions and its process volume are determined depending on the liquid capacity, physical and chemical properties of oil, produced water, operating mode and quality requirements to the final product based on the conducted studies of aggregated stability of water-oil emulsion.
